Simon Rouillier, co-founder of nvi (now iProspect) won the title of Entrepreneur of the Year in Canada’s Future Entrepreneurial Leader (FuEL) Awards, which promote Canadian entrepreneurship by identifying forward-thinking role models for youth. The 20 winners of the FuEL Awards represent the best of youth entrepreneurship in the country.
Prior to his career in digital marketing, Simon Rouillier was the manager of a successful College Pro Painters franchise. Building on his entrepreneurship experience, Rouillier teamed, in 2004, with Guillaume Bouchard, a pioneer in marketing for search engines. Together, they founded nvi, which has now become one of the largest agencies specialized in digital marketing in Canada. The agency has indeed grown significantly over the years; going from a few workers in a small office, to a team of fifty employees serving national clients in a prestigious loft, all within 7 years. It is with audacity and ambition that nvi has overcome challenges that occurred with each new client to become the leader it is today.

The FuEL Awards, organized by PROFIT Magazine and KPMG Enterprise, is a contest open to all Canadian business owners under 30 years old. The event aims to promote entrepreneurship in Canada and illustrating the many benefits of venturing out on one’s own.
